Here's what we do...

We provide behavior consulting services to caregivers at group homes & day programs as well as parents, family members and individual caregivers for adults with special needs.

Group Homes & Day Programs

We provide behavior consulting services including training in Los Angeles and the Central Valley. These services are funded through private group homes and day programs.

Central Valley Regional Center Adults with Special Needs

Adults with special needs may be eligible to receive Focus Based Services or Crisis Prevention Services. Reach out to your Central Valley Regional Center Service Coordinator.

About T&K Innovators

T&K Innovators was founded by Barbara Valenzuela in a converted garage in South Central Los Angeles. As a kid, she watched her mom work with children with special needs throughout several schools in Southern California and developed a love for people with special needs.

She started her own journey in the field over 17 years ago working with adults with special needs in group homes, supported living homes and adult day programs in Honolulu, Hawaii. She then continued serving the same population in California as a service coordinator and eventually a behavior consultant. After several trips to the central valley of California, she noticed a need for quality adult services in the area so she and her family decided to move to the central valley to provide a service that was much needed.

Barbara founded T&K Innovators to not only support those with special needs, but also their families and caregivers. Specializing in training and leadership development, Barbara and her team provides guidance to family members and caregivers with an emphasis on empowerment.

Barbara holds an MBA from Pepperdine University and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

At T&K Innovators we believe that making caregiver knowledge available to all caregivers will create a more equitable and compassionate world. We alleviate caregivers’ and parents’ stress by teaching them strategies and findings based on our comprehensive behavioral assessments. As a result, the individuals and their caregivers are able to experience the kind of life they want to live.
