Here's what we do...

We provide Behavior & Crisis Consulting Services to Individuals with Special Needs and their care givers. This includes individuals with co-occurring mental health needs in residential, group home, day program, or supported living facilities.

Regional Center Adults with Special Needs

Focused Based Services and Crisis Behavior Management Services are funded through your local Regional Center and include training, coaching and guidance to increase communication, understanding and quality of life for both the Individual and their Care Giver. Services are available throughout the Central Valley as well as in Los Angeles. Ask your Service Coordinator for more information!

Group Homes & Day Programs

We provide Behavior & Crisis Consulting Services through for Group Homes, Day Programs, and Supported Living Facilities throughout the Central Valley and in Los Angeles.

About T&K Innovators

T&K Innovators was founded by Barbara Valenzuela in a converted garage in South Central Los Angeles. As a kid, she watched her mom work with children with special needs throughout several schools in Southern California and developed a love for people with special needs.

She started her own journey in the field over 17 years ago working with individuals with special needs in group homes, supported living homes and adult day programs in Honolulu, Hawaii. She then continued serving the same population in California as a service coordinator and eventually a behavior consultant. After several trips to the central valley of California, she noticed a need for quality services in the area so she and her family decided to move to the central valley to provide a service that was much needed.

Barbara founded T&K Innovators to not only support those with special needs, but also their families and care givers. Specializing in training and leadership development, Barbara and her team provides guidance to family members and care givers with an emphasis on empowerment.

Barbara holds an MBA from Pepperdine University and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

At T&K Innovators we believe that providing care givers and parents the tools, resources, proven methods and knowledge to successfully communicate and understand their individuals while navigating unique daily challenges in life will create a more equitable and compassionate world. We alleviate care givers’ and parents’ stress by teaching them person-centered strategies based on our individualized comprehensive behavioral assessments. As a result, the individuals and their caregivers are able to experience the kind of life they want to live.
