Crisis prevention services

Process

Crisis Prevention Services is the most intensive level of service. T&K Innovators is vendored through Central Valley Regional Center to provide crisis prevention services to a small group of people.

The assessment process is shorter and faster since on the onset of services most of the individuals we serve are considered to be in crisis.

We provide access to a behavior & crisis consultant 24/7 who is available to consult during a crisis situation.

We provide guidance to assist with de-escalation, support to remind the individual and their caregiver that we are on this journey with them, and empowerment to provide the tools needed for confidence to minimize future crisis incidents from occurring.

Focus Based Services (FBS)

T&K Innovators is vendored through Central Valley Regional Center to provide Focus Based Services for adults with special needs who need focused services on behaviors that may be getting in the way of their quality of life as well as their caregivers.

We will narrow down what the behavior is (for both the caregiver and the adult with special needs) and what we can do to teach you to do instead while still getting the same outcome you desire.

The goal of this service is to enhance knowledge on applied behavior analysis as well as self-awareness of what is required to create meaningful change.

T&K Innovators partners with community group homes and adult day programs to provide behavior consulting services. These services are privately funded by small businesses that serve Los Angeles and the Central Valley.

At the beginning stages of our working relationship, we spend time building rapport, reviewing historical and current records, and observing the interactions between the caregiver and the individual.

We are interested in knowing, what is your story? how can we serve you? and how can we add value? We develop a comprehensive assessment that guides us to develop a plan for services, as a team. Finally, we provide training and guidance throughout the process of implementing the plan.

T&K Innovators provides training as part of all the services we provide.

However, we are also available if you want to receive training for yourself or provide training for your staff.

Training can be catered as needed based on topic, current challenges, a quick refresher, or just to gain knowledge.
